1989 Hydra Sport X270 bass boat. Designed by Earl Bentz and Roark Summerford, this was one of the first pad vee hull designs and the hull that started the writing of the bass boat bible. Many hull designs were copied from this hull. It is in excellent condition and has original seats, Original gel-coat and stickers, new carpet, new live well aerator pumps, new bilge pump and auto bilge pump switch, new fuel gauge and sending unit, new running lights, new aerator timer control panel The engine is estimated to have less than 50 hours total time. It is a 1989 150 Mariner Magnum II, oil injected with 24" pitch Mercury Laser II stainless prop, new spark plugs, new oil injection control module. Lower unit oil and water pump have been changed at end of last summer. CMC manual set back plate, MinnKota Maxxum 24V 80lb thrust trolling motor, Dual rack and pinion steering cables, Butt Seat, MinnKota 2 bank built in battery charger, 3 good batteries, 18 gallon fuel tank, On-board oil reservoir, lots of storage, and a drive on Hydra Sport trailer with good tires and a spare. New trailer lights, good bunk boards and carpet. I've gotten 69 gps mph with light load, 65-66 mph with tournament load This boat is easy to drive even on full trim at top speed, handles rough water well and fishes like a dream. Graphs and mounts on console and front deck are not included in the price. I don't believe you can find another X270 anywhere in the country in this good of condition. A few minor stress cracks around the rub rail on right front and a few minor gel-coat chips on the hull. These are very minor and are not structural damage. No stress cracks at transom and no soft spots on the floor. Gel-coat is in excellent shape. Minor tear in one of the original seats. Kept indoors or under awning and covered while not in use. You won't believe this is an original 36 year old classic. Shown by appointment only. $6900.00
